The tech industry got wind of major changes at the top of one of their more prominent companies on Monday.
It was reported that two presidents with Cisco Systems would be resigning their positions with the company.
Chuck Robbins, who is taking over as chief executive officer from John Chambers on July 26th, plans to announce the details of his organizational vision and plans in the next two weeks.
The departing employees are president and chief operating officer Gary Moore and president of development and sales Rob Lloyd.
Both men will step down a day prior to Robbins’ first day at the head of Cisco.
Robbins, a veteran of the industry for over 17 years, says that these moves comprise the beginning of a “flatter strategy” that will improve Cisco Systems’ productivity overall.
