2013 Marketing Expenditures For Mobile Apps At Record CostsIt has been increasingly costly as records for 2013 indicate, for developers of mobile apps to gain new users. According to Fiksu’s Loyal User Acquisition Cost Index, the first three months of 2013 alone were indicative of high costs. Acquiring users went up from 2012’s $1.25 to around $1.40.

Record-breaking costs could be seen as the second half of 2013 rolled around. Not since December 2011, had there ever been a more expensive month than July 2013; marketing expenditures for mobile app developers had reached its apex.
