Aereo Turning Away New Customers Due To Limited Capacity Issues

Visitors to Aereo’s website who attempt to sign up for service are being greeted with the message “Thanks for your interest in Aereo! We are currently sold out in New York.”

Currently, Aereo is only allowing visitors to sign up for an “invite” to be notified when their service resumes.

CEO Chaitanya Kanojia has stated that once capacity is increased, Aereo will reopen.

A planned Aereo rollout in the Chicago area has been delayed.
