Amazon Has Got You Covered: Shipping Your Package Before Your Order ItToday is the day that “anticipatory shipping” becomes a new patent for Amazon. Items may be shipped out to warehouses where it can get to you almost closer than a lightning strike. Sound far-fetched? Nope. Amazon is dead serious when it comes to getting packages to you very quickly. They have already implemented Sunday deliveries and those package-carting drones loom on the star-lit horizon, right?

Preemptive buying, based on how long your cursor hovers on an online item, wish lists, the inside skinny on your previous purchases and searches, are all part and parcel to the “crystal ball” tactics of Amazon.

Hey, remember that movie starring Jim Carey, where the customer calls up for service from the company, and about 3 seconds later the guy’s apartment doorbell rings. Looking through the peek hole, dumbfounded, there comes a loud greeting: “Cable guy!”

Amazing Amazon don’t want you chewing your fingernails in anticipation. So they got you covered.
