Apple Asks For Appeal In E-Book Antitrust Case AftermathApple pleads for an appeal, via New York’s federal appeals court, to be given a whole new trial, or to have the decision overturned as Apple Inc. have been found to be in violation of antitrust laws concerning e-book prices.

Electronic prices were manipulated by Apple is the stipulation the judge handed down.

Apple faces an uphill battle, but they stand on the merit that this decision by the court “is  a radical departure” that as far as the current antitrust laws go,  can “chill competition and harm consumers” if they don’t fight it and win.
