Apple Inc. (AAPL) has a bit of a conundrum on its hands as the less expensive iPhone 5C is being virtually outsold by a 2-to-1 margin by the iPhone 5S; 64% to 27%.
Both smartphones, for the first time in the company’s history were launched together. The iPhone 5C sales are comparable to the iPhone 4S when it comprised 23% of sales just following the iPhone 5’s debut, in the marketplace.
The future of the sales of the iPhone 5S vs. the iPhone 5C discussion must include the fact that the iPhone 4S has marked its turf off by remaining quite popular. The iPhone 4S is still able to take a good bite out of the apple, saleswise.
