Apple’s iOS for the car, CarPlay, turns a person’s car’s entertainment set-up into a high-powered dashboard.
Volvo, Ferrari, and Mercedes-Benz representatives were present at the Geneva Motor Show, saying that they would start this week, shipping out CarPlay-able automobiles/vehicles to drivers. Jaguar, Hyundai and Honda will expand the already elite group a bit more as 2014 progresses. Then will come Suzuki, Toyota, Nissan, Open, Kia, Ford, Chevrolet, BMW, Mitsubishi, Peugeot-Citroen, and Land Rover.
There are notable exceptions in the aforementioned group, including any of the VW’s organization’s cars.
Apple has, on the near horizon, an expansion of their platform via direct accessibility with software and products in a whopping potential 15 million new areas yearly. The number of new automobiles sold last year throughout the world totals 15 million! And, just who believes in coincidence? Not I.
Apple’s dynasty grows as cars are turned into iPhone accessories.
