uc-web-logo-transparentCiting multiple platform strategy, having 500 million customers around the world, China’s UCWeb has started up a browser for smart TVs.

Multiple screens are a boon to any PC- or device-user, and having your mobile phone or tablet, PC and TV projected for you make for a productive and/or entertaining experience.

The online video library, Youku, is available over the UC Browser for TV, which is, for now, a Chinese-only phenomenon. Also, turning the smartphone into a TV remote, easily and comfortably, while shopping online, is another UC Browser feature. Additionally, bookmarking, syncing settings, and cloud-accessing are all possible.
