DARPA Puts All Its Open-Source Code OnlineThe U.S. Department of Defense’s DARPA is giving completely accessible and free online availability for all of its open source code information. The agency, known for its secrecy in military projects, have the DARPA Open Catalog online displaying a database encasing publications, open-source software, as well as other information amassed from DARPA-funded public projects. DARPA projects include the internet, self-driving cars, and GPS.

DARPA program manager had this to say: “Making our open source catalog available increases the number of experts who can help quickly develop relevant software for the government.”
