The slippery experience of the extremely touch-sensitive Windows 8 PC is decidedly what HP’s website is urging you strongly not to opt for. A new promotion has revealed “Windows 7 is back” and “back by popular demand”, with $150 in “savings” to boot.
Going as far to tailor the search for Windows 7 machines, one only has to skim through the desktop PCs on HP’s website to find that by default, no Windows 8 PCs will appear.
A starring display of a Windows 7 laptop is preeminent though Windows 8 machines do apparently dot the laptops section of HP’s gear.
The Hewlett-Packard Company, who incorporated in 1957, could be said to be — as a staple Rock music hit opines — “reeling in the years”
