In China, Windows XP Support By Microsoft Ends April 8thAs of April 8th, 2014 Windows XP iOS will no longer be supported by Microsoft.

Here is what is happening:

Qihoo 360 has got it covered though, as Microsoft’s MAPP operator (providing internet security) is going to step in until Windows XP is gone completely.

The statistics:

25-40 percent of computers, depending on who you ask, globally, are run on the 2001-launched Windows XP. To make the crucial point, though, it most be noted that 70 percent of the computers in China depend on it.

The aftermath?

After April 8th, with 200 million computers nestled on desks and tabletops throughout China, the threat of viruses have people tense about the situation.
