LinkedIn’s elite who are hand-picked by editors to be “influencers” and have wordy blog posts published won’t be the only ones allowed to do this anymore, as the publishing platform of the popular social media business site has been revised and rethought as now all 277 million users will be able to do this.
The Head of Content Products at LinkedIn, Ryan Roslansky: “One of our big strategic bets for the company is for LinkedIn to become the definitive, professional publishing platform. We do this because we want LinkedIn to be the place where members can become productive, successful professionals, not just when you’re trying to find a job, or search for another person.”
Do you know what LinkedIn is getting at? They want to people to visit their site, optimally, daily if all goes real well. Weekly visits to read influential posts by users would be most probable.
