Microsoft has completed the development of its first update to Windows 8.1. It’s scheduled to be released next month. The company announce the update as a “spring” update, during a press conference at the Mobile World Congress last week.
Most of the changes in the update are geared toward mouse-and-keyboard users. Among the additions are a shutdown button on the start screen, for non-touch machines, the option to show Windows 8 apps on the desktop taskbar, and a new title bar with options to snap, minimize, or close apps.
