For the first time ever, the nanotechnology that could one day “treat cancer and other diseases by mechanically manipulating cells inside a human being” has had one little victory.
Nanomotors lodged in living human cells have been controlled successfully.
Nanomotors are jetted along their path harnessed by ultrasonic waves and steered along by magnets.
Tom Mallouk is a researcher and he is very hopeful that one day this technology will be utilized to treat cancer and other diseases by mechanically manipulating cells from the inside.
