When it comes to the topic of net neutrality, Netflix has made it clear that it’s siding with customers on the issue.
Expressing their concerns that ISP’s might take advantage of the recent court ruling negating the FCC’s rules concerning net neutrality, Netflix will side with the customer in any case where an ISP applies fees for providing high quality video streams.
Conceivably, an ISP could reserve high quality streams for customers who pay a premium, leaving those who don’t pay a premium out in the cold — and if some of those are Netflix subscribers, those subscribers could potentially experience lower quality Netflix streams.
