Irrespective of whether or not the receiver of an email has shared their email address with the sender, Google is plowing ahead with their plan that will allow people to send messages directly to other Gmail accounts.
Those included will be those with both Google+ and Gmail accounts.
How does Google think that this plan will make it “easier” to communicate with friends? And, is that really a good and necessary move?
The Electronic Privacy Information Center is concerned. Marc Rotenberg has called the upcoming Gmail feature “troubling”.
