Kentico Software, a customer-experience company, has uncovered the truth that a lot of us knew already (or at least had an inkling of).
In a survey, it was found that social media outlets including the big ol’ Facebook are having most of their brand posts ignored.
Whether it is Instagram, Twitter or Facebook it turns out that those who “hardly ever” or “never” pay attention to this kind of advertising parlayed by the social media network is at a level of 68 percent of users. Note, though, that those in the same study unfollowed or unliked brands, via a 5 percent bite-size amount of the user base.
Food for thought? Indeed.
There are just too many posts and they aren’t catching anybody’s real attention.
