Another cable network is wading into the waters of streaming services.
On Wednesday, Showtime announced a timeframe for the official debut of its own subscription-based streaming service.
This was set in motion from earlier in May as first reported on this website.
Showtime’s service will debut in early July, and be available on Apple devices to start.
The monthly price tag is $11. For new users, there is the option of enjoying a 30-day free trial if you sign up via Apple.
The service will launch in time for the new seasons of two of the network’s most popular original series, ‘Masters Of Sex’ and ‘Ray Donovan’.
The service is also available to those without a traditional TV subscription and will give all users access to their original programming, movies and sports shows along with the chance to view live feeds from the network on either the East or West Coast.
The new service from Showtime adds to an already burgeoning list of networks offering similar options to get quality programming without having to deal with extra imposed fees by broadband providers.
