Smoothing Out Matters With Isis Mobile Payments CustomersAT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless got together to create Isis, which handles mobile payments. In the oncoming weeks ahead, it will launch across the United States.

Isis announced today that the companies have decided that they will be giving away upwards of one million completely free Jamba Juice smoothies to those who choose to pay utilizing the Isis Mobile Wallet.

Isis is going out on a limb, possibly due to the fact they are hard-pressed to succeed. Isis has been in the development stage for years, going the mainstream route very, very soon.

Isis allows AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless customers to make payments at participating retail outlets via the tap to their NFC equipped smartphone.

Isis’ trials have not been easy going. Supporting Android phones and not being able to accommodate iPhones (because the iPhone doesn’t include the necessary NFC/near-field communication radio on board that is required by the device) does not bode well for the launch.
