Spotify Goes Universal In Lifting Cap On Free Music StreamingSpotify has gone universal in lifting its cap on free music streaming. Now, the remaining countries — a few in Europe — will be equally reveling in Spotify.

Users may not be able to listen to specific tracks, but certainly be in for an entertaining spread of choice albums and artists, made available this way in December, by Spotify who have extended free streaming to all devices.

(Spotify, by the way, is still quite a ways off to catching up with popular Pandora, who stream music and are #1 at it, to boot.)

Also, Spotify is doing what many companies do. They are keeping a watchful eye or two on the competition. Especially, the up-and-coming Beats Music who are headed up by record mogul, Jimmy Iovine who has experience with his quantifiable resume that includes Interscope, Geffen and A&M.

It is getting crowded though for music streaming services. Especially now. Deezer, Radio, Rhapsody, iHeartRadio, etc. offer competitive services.
