That T-Mobile and Sprint would merge, has federal regulators scratching their foreheads, doubting that it can really happen.
Reconsideration has set in for Softbank and Sprint, unsure of this proposal to merge the two companies. The merger has been egged on by Sprint and T-Mobile, noticing that AT&T and Verizon have been in the upper echelons of the mobile carrier business together.
T-Mobile, Sprint, and Softbank must convince regulators with a sound strategy in place, as the combined companies may yet move forward, but could be met with denial without sound arguments.
