T-Mobile’s “Dear John” break up promotion seems to having an effect.
Over 80,000 Dear John letters have been created on a website designed for just that purpose.
“As you can see from some of the breakup letters, people do say who they’re breaking up with. In fact, customers are making signs, wanting to get their photo taken – they really want to have fun with it,” spokeswoman Anne Marshall said.
The long term results are still a question mark. Only time will tell of the overall effectiveness of this promotion.
