Top Microsoft Engineer Doesn't Scroogle Google, He Joins ThemJoining Google as their star continues to rise is Blaise Agüera y Arcas, who comes to them via Microsoft whom the engineer/software architect had achieved a great amount of success with (since signing with them in 2006 along with his mighty Seadragon entity).

It is hardly the norm for senior Microsoft employees to jump ship to Google. Especially telling of the two tech companies’ feuding, would be the fact that Microsoft had sued Google over the their acquisition of their company’s former vice-president Kai-Fu Lee.

More of a visible feud witnessed by the general public would be the never ending, it seems, Scroogled campaign — whereby ads are designed and implemented that serve to cast a jaundiced eye over both Google’s products and policies.

The moral of this true life unfolding tale of two corporations may just be that if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.
