TV Network In France Knocked Out By ISIS HackersThe French television network TV5Monde has been struck again by hackers.

Coming off of an attack in April(reported first here) and another mishap at the network the very next day, TV5 Monde was hacked again.

An ongoing local police investigation stated that the origin of the attacks were traced to a Russian group that calls themselves APT28.

Other French media outlets have said that this same group has attempted to hack the White House in the past along with attempts on dissidents, members of NATO and activists from the Ukraine.

The hack left pro Islamic State messages on the stations’ Facebook page, as well as documents that apparently were ID cards of the relations of French soldiers taking part in the battle against IS forces.

TV5 Monde had to resort to airing pre-recorded programming, claiming the move “unprecedented in the history of television.”

Investigators are currently narrowing down suspicious IP addresses they feel related to the attack.
