Admitted frequent testers, Twitter — whose short messages are their raison d’etre — have created a new timeline on their ‘Nearby’ app.
What is most relevant to know immediately for the app user is that Twitter is now sharing your location.
Since 2010, users could tweet, adding their location if they wanted. Though with this latestexperiment that feature is turned off via a default position. It must be turned on manually by the user to render it inactive.
The search function and the “discover” tab had difficulty getting the millions of tweets to be concurrent with the Twitter user experience.
Advertisers are monetarily on the minds of the folks over at Twitter, with this new test, also.
