It wouldn’t surprise anyone to know that Cupid’s arrows are striking one out of every ten adults on mobile dating apps or online dating websites. What may raise eyebrows, especially for those looking to ‘hook up’ with a meaningful significant other, is that according to a report by Pew Internet, an average of 66% of these people actually end up going out on an date, giving a new and re-defining terminology for the phrase ‘blind date’.
Though you can see and hear and speak and chat, let’s face it, you don’t know what kind of candy you are going to be tangling with until you peel the wrapper off, by physically meeting for the first time.
A whopping, in this humble writer’s opinion, percentage of 23% go on to hook up big time, and become future spouses/long term partners.
