Uber Looks To Acquire Nokia’s Digital Mapping Service HereUber is set to begin the process of establishing their new home, and judging by the early images it will be an impressive sight.

The series of conceptual design images that display what Uber’s vision of their future headquarters would be have recently come to light.

The massive two-building complex will be situated in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco, California.

The new complex would allow Uber to host all of its current employees under one roof for the first time; at present the company occupies four floors in a building in the Mid-Market district that are non-consecutive along with other offices within the city.

A spokesman for the company stated, “Uber was born in San Francisco, and this city has very special meaning for our company. We are excited to expand our presence here and invest in the Mission Bay neighborhood.”

Uber teamed up with Alexandria Real Estate to initiate the process, and filed for a request for qualification with the city.

The complex will be composed of one ten-story building and a six-story building linked by glass enclosed walkways, taking up over 400,000 square feet.

Uber looks to get approval and break ground later this year with a completion date between 2017 and 2018.
